Douglas ShoemakerDouglas is an urban landscape ecologist investigating urbanization and its impact on socio-ecological systems. He employs ecosystem services approaches to explore and quantify spatio-temporal dynamics that link human and environmental systems, thereby contributing to the resolution of pressing global resource and sustainability concerns.
